About

Natasha GreerI’m a Website Administrator by trade and a natural hair aficionado in my spare time.

I made the decision to go natural in 1997 after years of several failed attempts with a perm. From 1997 to 2001, I wore my hair pressed. While the process was not very time-consuming, I found that my lifestyle revolved around my hair. Living in a dry, hot region of California, this was not ideal.

In 2001, I chopped off all of my pressed hair and wore 1/2 inch palm roll twists for almost a year. I then colored my hair and love the get-up-and-go nature of my TWA. I finally started letting my hair grow back around 2003. I love experimenting with my hair. I’ve worn kinky twists, Senegalese Twists, cornrows, bantu knots, box braids, up dos, flat twists, and one of my favs, the blowout.

In 2015, I decided to begin the next chapter of my natural hair journey: sisterlocks. We’ll see where this road takes me. You ready? Let’s go!
