Sigh. It’s happened again. I lost another loc. It was one of the sensitive crown area locs that had stretched and had a weak spot. I’d planned to ask my loctician to mend it during my retightening in 2 weeks, but she didn’t make it. 😢 I like to twirl the locs in my hand and she was just too weak. She snapped and I lost about 3/4 of the loc. I still have about an inch of loc left, but I’m still pretty sad.

I have a bad case of Hand in Hair Syndrome. I do it almost subconsciously. I used to do it prior to sisterlocks, but the consequences were never as great as they are now. I might have been damaging my hair over time in the past, but it never broke off in my hands. This is pretty devastating.

Today’s loss is either going to force me to keep my hands out of my hair or force me to wear a scarf when I’m home. Pray for me y’all.
